Jog Falls

The Jog Falls is the second highest waterfall in India located in Shimoga district of Karnataka. Created by the Sharavathi River and dropping down to 253 m (830 ft), it the second-highest plunge waterfall.

Dudhsagar Falls

The Dudhsagar Falls (literally meaning the Sea of Milk) is located in Goa, Karnataka. The falls makes the area misty and it is surrounded by forests with a rich biodiversity. The falls are not particularly spectacular during the dry season but during the monsoon season however, the falls are fed by rains and form a huge force of water.

Athirappilly Waterfall

The Athirapally waterfalls is located in the Thrissur district of Kerala. Nicknamed as the “Niagara of India”, the Athirapally waterfall is 25 metres high. People visiting this place can also enjoy the jungle (forest) safari. The view of the lush green forests of the western ghats along with the beautiful waterfall, makes the place truly a paradise!

Talakona Waterfall

Situated near the famous Lord Siddheswara Swami Temple, the Talakona waterfall is a popular destination for the tourists. The height of the waterfall is 82 metres. It is located in the Sri Vankateswara National Park in the Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh. Along with exploring the chance of exploring the Sri Venkateswara wildlife sanctuary, this places provides a refreshing retreat.

Khandadhar Waterfall

The Khandadhar waterfall is located in Kendujhar district of Odisha. The total height of the waterfall is height 500 ft (152 m). The lush green surroundings and the cascade provides a very refreshing view for the visitors. The most captivating view is to watch the rainbow formed at the base of the waterfall.

Nohkalikai Falls

The Nohkalikai falls is the tallest waterfall in India with the height of 1,115 feet (340 metres). It is located in Cherrapunji (Meghalaya), which is the wettest places on Earth. The strikingly scenic beauty and the fact that it is the tallest waterfall- the place attracts lots of tourists to this place.

Kempty Falls

The Kempty falls are located 13 km from Mussoorie in Uttrakhand. Kempty Falls were developed as a tourist destination by a British officer John Mekinan, around 1835. A stream of water running throughout the year starting from the southwest of village Banglow ki kandi moves northwest and falls from 4,500 ft. Splitting into five other cascades, the water falls a further 40 ft.
