The caves of Ajanta and Ellora were cut out from the volcanic lava of the Deccan plateau. There are a total of 29 caves in Ajanta. The caves offer well-preserved paintings, which include two great Bodhisattvas, Padmapani, and Avalokiteshvara. Also, there is total of 34 caves in Ellora with elaborate facades and exquisite interiors. Moreoverne must visit the Siddharth Garden and the Bibi ka Maqbara. So, essentially while the Ajanta caves have some of India’s most sophisticated ancient paintings, the Ellora caves are renowned for their extraordinary architecture.<\/p>\n

What Howrah Bridge is to Kolkata what Taj Mahal is to Agra. It was built in the times of British rule and the structure still remains one of oldest landmarks in Kolkata. It is one of the largest cantilever bridges in the world, and the largest (and perhaps the only) one in the country which spans across the Hooghly river. It provides one-of-a-kind experience to drive through this bridge. Known as the symbol of Kolkata and West Bengal, this bridge is also termed as a \u201cPhotographer\u2019s Delight\u201d by the top travel photographers of the country.<\/p>\n
