Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra: Complete Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi – Jammu – Katra (45kms/ 1hrs approx)
Arrive Jammu airport/ railway station, meet with our office representative, assistance and drive to Katra, check in at hotel. Rest day free for personal activities relax etc. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Katra – Vaishno Devi – Katra
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to helipad for flight to Sanjhi Chat. Proceed to your “Darshan Yatra”. Visit to various temples of this holy mountain like, Ban Ganga, Charan Paduka Temple and Ardh Kuwari. After the Drashan at Mata Vaishno Devi Mandir return to Katra.

Amidst snow-capped mountains of the Himalayas and sprawling forests, nestles the shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. Mata Vaishno Devi Temple is one of the most visited pilgrimage centres in India. It is located on the Trikuta Mountain at a height of 5,300 ft. The Vaishno Devi Mandir is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Shakti, located in the hill of Vaishno Devi, Jammu and Kashmir, India. In Hinduism, Vaishno Devi, also known as Mata Rani and Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Mother Goddess.The shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi witnesses thousands of devotees arrive all through the year irrespective of the difficulties faced by them. The Yatra begins at Katra and pilgrims have to cover 13km. of terrain on foot to reach the Darbar. Popular belief holds that anybody who walks the Himalayan trail to the shrine rarely goes back disappointed. A super natural power seems to draw them through the mountain and they climb up those great heights step by step. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Katra – Jammu – Delhi (45kms/ 1hrs approx)
After breakfast drive to Jammu airport to board flight for Delhi.
